Introduction The two key movements that I chose are the Lutheranism movements and Early North American evangelical movements. The main reason I chose these two movements is because I wanted to see the connection from the mid-beginning of the protestant reformation movement and where it started and came from. During this course, it seems like we always find our way back to the original protestant period I wanted to dig a lot deeper. When comes to the North American evangelical movement what sparked my interest is learning about look is how the National Association of Evangelicals looked to maintain historical doctrines. Throughout history, people have complained about how the courts are corrupt, how the police are corrupt, and how America’s whole legal system is uncontrolled. â€Å"I was innocent but was still jailed†; â€Å"the cops only targeted me because I was black†; and â€Å"How am I to live after ten years of imprisonment†. There’s a need for a reformation or policy changes in how America handles the judicial system and prison system because, currently, it’s chaotic, unfair, and overwhelming. In the judicial system there have been many cases where people have done the same crime, but one person received a harsher punishment than the other. There needs to be a standard or law equality. We have laws in place that try to impose standards like the mandatory minimums law, but they either don’t address the issue, or are too weak to hold any value. The type of unfairness earlier referred to under law is called disparity. Disparity refers to any group of cases where the defendants have similar legal backgrounds, and yet they receive drastically different sentencing. There have been cases where two men in the same state, both murdered a person, with no other court cases behind them. They were legally the same. So they should serve the same time, but they didn’t. Since WWII correspondent Ernie Pyle was so famous, his death onthe battlefront came as a shock to people around the world. Ernest Taylor Pyle was born August 3, 1900 to Will andMarie Pyle. He was born an only child on the Same Elder farmjust southwest of Dana, Indiana. His father, Will Pyle, was atenant farmer because he couldnt make a steady living frombeing a carpenter, which is what he really liked to do. Pyledescribed his father, He never said a great deal to me all hislife, and yet I feel we have been very good friends, he nevergave me much advice or told me to do this or that, or not to. Pyle was areporter, copy editor, and aviation editor until 1932, when heaccepted a job for the Scripps-Howard newspaper chain. Pyleloved to travel and persuaded Scripps-Howard executives toallow him to be a roving reporter. Ernie Pyle was very excitedto be a roving reporter:Its better than a million dollars.
